Public Service is a full service agency dedicated to providing PR, Creative Branding and Celebrity Activation services in the fashion industry space. Witnessing firsthand the void found at basic fashion PR Agencies, founder, Mike Vargas was motivated to flip the traditional model with Public Service, an agency built to address the widespread demand in the rapidly changing fashion market.

Mike Vargas brings with him over 15 years of agency experience to Public Service.  Having developed strategic PR campaigns, brand development and fashion event production for globally recognized fashion brands including, Jeremy Scott, Ksubi and Rag & Bone and various others.

Starting his career at People’s Revolution in 2002, Vargas flourished at the company, ending his reign as West Coast VP as People’s Revolution grew into one of the most powerful PR companies in the world, representing and producing shows for such brands as Agent Provocateur, Giuseppe Zanotti, Paco Rabanne and Jeremy Scott. In 2015, Vargas joined B. Akerlund's The Residency as Global Director and established the showroom as a global launch pad for emerging designers and brands.

Vargas brings a true creative substance, an unwavering passion and desire to execute with excellence into Public Service’s mission. He is a native Angeleno truly in love with LA’s culture.
